The Homecoming 1983

Bought a DVD called "The Homecoming 1983" , recorded in Minneapolis
It has a picture of P on the cover from the
Graffiti Bridge era (!) , and it's from a German (?)
company called FNM (Falcon Neue Medien)

The screen quality is a disgrace !
You can barely see his face ! disbelief
I think it was an audience recording
They shouldn't be aloud to make money off this !! pissed
(tho it was only 7 Euro's)

However , the sound quality is ok and it's always nice
to have old live material
The playlist is;

1. Controversy
2. Let's Work
3. Do Me , Baby
4. Sexuality
5. Let's Pretend We're Married
6. Lisa Solo
7. How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore ?
8. Lady Cab Driver
9. Little Red Corvette
10.Dirty Mind
11.International Lover
12.1999

I got that show on dvd too but my copy also has The Time and Vanity sets as a bonus. Also, Musicolgy annoyingly plays over the menu screen.

Love the performance of How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?

Also bought "Jimi Hendrix - Until We Meet Again" released by the same company
(FNM) also for just 7 Euro's , it's quite nice (although they forgot to
include the song "All Along The Watchtower" on the back)

whoever did this dvd either must not have had the v6 and the time performances included on their copy, or they just wanted to cut to the chase and just have p's performance on it. i thought that all copies of the homecoming on video or dvd or whatever had the two opening acts on it and not just the main performance. i've got the whole shebang on my copy (mine's on video).

hmmm

I guess they tried to make it a cheap as possible , even the cover picture
is from the Graffiti Bridge era , surely they didn't give it much effort
Also i guess only the real fans know The Time and Vanity so that's probably
why they didn't include them

i hate it when boots have a picture from a totally conflicting era than the contents of the boot itself. lol

even so, their acts were part of the show and should've been left on. ah well...confused
