Anna Garcia at the age of 15 met the artist Prince in Europe and remained friends until she was 17 when the couple began dating. Soon after she moved from Europe to live with Prince in Minneapolis and was given the name "Anna Fantastic". During their two year storybook romance Anna Garcia wrote and recorded songs with Prince and appeared on numerous Prince projects and releases. Anna Garcia eventually ended their romance and stated in an interview with People Magazine 'I had the need to do this on my own and Prince didn't want me in the music business so I ended the relationship".

Anna Fantastic And she is! The girl who once swept Prince off his feet with her beauty, humor, and mind. Is now back with a new life and new music.
Love Universe: Hello Anna Thanks 4 talking 2 us

Love Universe: Sorry but we must ask this question first? Prince released a new album late last year titled The Rainbow Children? have u heard it?

Anna Fantastic: No. I never really bought his albums. I would listen to the songs in the car on the way home from the studio.
Love Universe: How many albums of his do u own?
Anna Fantastic: None that I went to the store and bought.
Love Universe: U worked with him on various musical projects, what time frame was that?
Anna Fantastic: Between 1988 to mid 1990
Love Universe: Do u remember any titles of the songs? Do they remain unreleased?

Anna Fantastic: Partyman, Madhouse, There is allot more than that but I don't remember specific titles but I was definitely an inspiration for him at that time. Lemon crush was my favourite drink and vicki waiting was originally Anna Waiting which he wrote as a gift to me for my 18th birthday. He actually asked me if he could change it to Vicki waiting for the Batman Soundtrack.
Love Universe: U sang on the song Partyman, was that the first song u worked on with him?

Anna Fantastic: No. I wrote Fantasia Erotica with him which in fact was going to be my song instead of Carmen Electra. I didn't mind Carmen singing it she did a good job but he could have been fair about it and given me my writers credits. I was young and didn't know or think of things like that I guess you live and learn.
Love Universe: Did u appear in the video 4 Partyman?
Anna Fantastic: No. I was doing a shoot in Europe at the time when he did it.
Love Universe: What is it like 2 work with him?

Anna Fantastic: I cant really give a professional opinion on that because at the time I was head over heels in love with him and everything he wrote was absolutely wonderful to me. At the time I had to many personal emotions attached to my relationship with him to really say.
Love Universe: When did u first meet Prince?
Anna Fantastic: In London when I was 15 about the time Under The Cherry Moon came out.
Love Universe: Did he cook 4 u?

Anna Fantastic: He may have made toast. I do remember that he always made me cups of tea with lots of Honey. He had a cook and she would cook any time of the day or night when ever he fancied something so he never cooked.

Love Universe: Did u live with him share a bed? Sorry 2 ask but what is he like on a, u know regular day? jeans? t shirt?

Anna Fantastic: I lived with him in Minneapolis when and I moved in he called me Anna Fantastic and my real name is Anna Garcia so I thought that was cute. He was nice, interesting, a good listener and liked to have a laugh. He really didn't want to hear bad news and wanted everything good he only wanted to here the good stuff. As far as what he wore, most of his clothes were designed and made for him but he did have some jeans also designed for him. He didn't wear T-shirts much at all. He really always dressed the same way as you see him in videos and press photos and album covers. If not that it would be silk Pyjamas.
Love Universe: He wrote the song Pink Cashmere 4 u, Do u still have the coat?

Anna Fantastic: Yes I do. Actually I just came back from Europe over the holidays visiting my family and brought it back with me.
Love Universe: What other items do u have that he gave u or u held on 2?

Anna Fantastic: I'm the type of person that likes to keep things that have sentimental value like little notes from friends in school when I was about 10 and movie tickets from certain occasions so yes I would definitely have some things like photos, clothes, letters and tapes which all have a memory attached to them. Not because it's Prince per say but because it's part of my life. Maybe one day I'll put it all together in a memories book beginning to end. (Not for public release but for myself.)
Love Universe: Why did u 2 break up?

Anna Fantastic: We never really formally broke up. It all started when I got an offer for record deal in England when I was 19. Prince wanted me to work only with him and I didn't want to be looked at as an artist that only made it because she was the girlfriend of Prince. I wanted to do it on my own. I began working on my album and spending less and less time with him back home in Minneapolis then one day I never came back. He still called me when I was in England and when I moved to Holland he didn't have any numbers to reach me and I never called him. It sounds a bit crazy but that's how it ended.
Love Universe: What was the last thing u said 2 him? or he said 2 u?

Anna Fantastic: He called me in London when I was about to go out with some friends and I said I have a taxi waiting I have to go. This may have been the last time we spoke I'm not 100% sure and I don't remember exactly what he saidto me but I remember him sounding a bit disappointed and saying something like"That was quick" because we had just got on the phone.
Love Universe: Do u have any recordings of him unreleased that he gave u?
Anna Fantastic: Yes I have several tapes.
Love Universe: Your new music really sounds ready 4 airplay who produced your new jams?

Anna Fantastic: I wrote and produced them with Tracman and Hurt-m-Badd. They worked with Tupac and Snoop and several other artist. Hurt-m-badd produced Machiavelli for Pac and Tracman worked with R.Kelly and Deathrow Records.
Love Universe: Any film plans?

Anna Fantastic: I'm actually about to start shooting the pilot for my own MTV type talk show at the end of March.

Love Universe: u posed 4 playboy in europe, would u pose nude say 4 playboy or another magazine if asked?

Anna Fantastic: I really don't know but I may want to do Playboy again in the future but right now I want to concentrate on my singing and acting. I have nothing against posing nude if it's done in the right way it can be beautiful. I loved it, for me it was a great experience.
Love Universe: U are so beautiful how do u stay looking so good?

Anna Fantastic: To be honest I really don't do anything. I guess I work more on my inner rather than my outer. But if you're actually looking for beauty tips, one thing I don't do is wear makeup unless I need to for a shoot but for therest I use facial moisturisers but no particular brand. It may sound a bit nutty but I believe the body will produce for itself what it needs. I do believe in eating the proper foods. I grew up on excellent food with lots of olive oil, garlic, honey instead of sugar. At the end of the day people should do whatever it is they need to do to make themselves happy with themselves. For me happiness is the key to everything. When you feel good inside it will show on the outside. You will glow who ever you are and a bit of good genes ain't bad either.
Love Universe: What did u learn from your relationship with Prince?

Anna Fantastic: How to play mind games and manipulate people. HAHAHA! Not really I'm being sarcastic now. I learned how to drive and got my D.L. When I was there I learned how to drive and one day I was driving his white vintage convertible Buick Wildcat the one from Under the Cherry Moon and I had just got my D.L. and I drove myself home from the studio and I wrecked the whole right side when I was pulling into the garage. When I called him at the studio and told him about what had happened the first thing he said was. Are you all right??. He sent the car to the body shop and had it fixed. But he never got angry about it.
Love Universe: Sorry 2 ask this but. Is he normal sexually? Any stunning revelations?

Anna Fantastic: I would say yes, no big deal really. What one person finds normal another may not, so who am I to determine what is normal or not. It was definitely nothing involved that would break the law. Any stunning revelations? No stunning revelations, but if anyone else has any I would love to here. LOL!

Love Universe: Prince recently got married 4 the 2nd time and has found a new life in his strong religious beliefs. What do u think of his new found truth?

Anna Fantastic: I'm happy that he's happy because he's gone through so much these last several years. I don't know what his new found truth is so I really couldn't say, as long as he's content with his believes that's all that really matters. I know he got married on my birthday.
Love Universe: Was he into God perse, back when u were together?

Anna Fantastic: Yeah but it wasn't a 24 hr a day thing. We didn't have any deep discussions about it. He's definitely a God fearing man and believed in being a good person.
Love Universe: Did he ever explain his beliefs of what God means 2 him?
Anna Fantastic: No

Love Universe: Are u happy with life in the 2000's. What did u think of Sept. 11th? Where were u when u heard america was under attack?

Anna Fantastic: Extremely. These new numbers of 2000 feel like a new beginning. 2000 2001 2002 just feels like starting over from a fresh new start. As far as the attack on Sept. 11. I was at home asleep. My sister and her fiancee had just arrived only hours before the attack. That morning at about 6 o'clock my girlfriend Toni called and told us we were under attack. I didn't believe it at first but when I turned on CNN and saw the World Trade Center burning then the reality hit. I think it's awfully frightening but at the same time I think it's a wake up call especially for people you are all caught up in their daily lives and have forgotten to live. I mean really live. Be alive and aware of people and things around you. Love and enjoy and do what makes you happy as long as you are not hurting anyone else.
Love Universe: Are u religious yourself?

Anna Fantastic: Yes. I believe in God. I don't follow any one religion. I believe in being a good person and being fair, truthful, kind, humble and not being judgemental. Understanding that we are all human and equal and know we all make mistakes and should learn to forgive. The important thing in my life is to be happy and give in to happiness. For me happiness is the difference between the devil and God. When I give in to sadness, I don't know if I would call it the devil but I do know it's not God.
Love Universe: just a couple of questions left.
Love Universe: What do u think of 2days popular music? What CD's are u listening 2 currently?

Anna Fantastic: When I was about 5-6 I remember listening to all types of soul/R&B and funk music because my parents listened to it all the time. Artists like Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, EWF The Supremes, The Staple Singers, HeatWave etc... so I really like that today's music seems to be heading back to it's Original roots with singers like Alicia Keyes and Soul Child etc. The mix between Hip Hop and R&B was inevitable of course crossing over into the main stream pop arena. I like to dance as well so Craig David gives me a nice mix of Garage& R&B, that's a nice combination. Over all I like where today's music is heading. I was getting worried for awhile that we were getting stuck in one groove. Music changes so fast now it's time for me to head back to the studio to write new music. I spoke with Mayte and Tommy one night when I was out and she's working on some new material with him so the outcome of that combination could be very interesting.

Love Universe: One last question. Prince recently announced a tour if his tour came 2 a local theatre or arena would u and your husband attend?

Anna Fantastic: I don't like going to concerts and I really didn't go to his concerts when we were together so I probably wouldn't start now.
