Putting Prince downloads on Ipod

I got an error when I tried to put Slaughterhouse and Choc Invasion on my Ipod. Anybody know how I can do this? Do I have to burn it to disc first?
Thanks.

Yes. I burned them first into a CD and then to the iPod. No big deal.

A tip: You can use a CD-RW so it's ready for a new protected disc every time nod or if you download singles you don't feel like you're wasting a blank CD R on just one or two songs smile

Yes -- the club downloads are protected Windows Media Player files, which are not supported on the iPod. Burn the songs to a disc first, then re-rip the tracks as MP3s or AAC files, then move them to your iPod.

Protected WMA files can only be burned to a CD on a PC -- the Macintosh version of Windows Media Player will play the tracks but does not support CD burning. So, if you've bought club tracks on a Mac and need to burn them to a CD, get them into iTunes or on an iPod, your best bet is Audio Hijack:

I love my ipod. I noticed the same thing about TCE & TSH. But I just live without them (but will burn them on a CD now that I know), I have so much music on my ipod I am not missing those two albums all that much. Now if I couldn't get Sign o the Times on there THEN there would be problems.
