It wasn't prophetic in the slightest. Osama bin Laden was in the news long before 9/11. it wasn't prophetic???? so what if mr.OBL was in the news before 9/11. no one thought he was "gettin ready to bomb" on a scale like that? The vagrant wasn't available for further comments, but he clearly didn't know that Mr. Boog was a fan of pop artist Prince in the eighties, and that he listened to albums like 'Dirty Mind' and 'Controversy' at a very young age. In civilized nations like the United States and the Marshall Islands, even 18 year olds are not allowed to even look at albums like that. And there is something much more serious about this early connection with the infamous pop artist. First of all, according to the FBI, one of the nicknames of Osama Bin Laden is Prince. Second: on December the 24th, 1998 (note: in 1998), Prince ended his performance at his secret after party in the Tivoli theatre in Utrecht, the Netherlands, with the words: "Bin Laden, get ready to bomb! America, you better watch out! 2001!" (See note 1 below.) Could there be a not wholly unexpected connection between the two controversial and dirty minded men? The Arab and the African American? And what is Mr. Boog's role in all this? Mr. Boog visited several Prince concerts in the late eighties. In the same period, he started travelling in the Middle East. This might be a coincidence, but our sources at the Dutch Intelligence Services confirm that it, like so much else, might indeed not be a coincidence. A few years later, in the early nineties, Mr. Boog was photographed on the Afghan border, with a beard and holding a gun. This photograph was obtained by your faithful reporter, together with two other photographs of the suspect at an even younger age (see photo), from which professional behaviorist observers under laboratory conditions made out an early tendency of cheekiness. Testimonials from several of Mr. Boog's parents' friends seem to support this observation. One of them said, "Already when he was four years old, he kept watching and watching and watching you, up to the point you got quite nervous." Studying documents about Mr. Boog that are readily available on the Internet reveals that the suspect has been in touch with Iranian and Syrian vagrants, Palestinian and Lebanese victims of massacres, that he recently has been considering the purchase of a F-117A stealth bomber, and that he likes olives. From several overheard conversations it's clear that he on rare occasions is requested to give someone food and recently promised to bring this same person one tomato. Moreover, he several times admitted to friends that he has been eating out on the Red Square in Moscow at the time communism collapsed. There, he also had tomatoes. Again, just like on September 11th, the Intelligence community appears to have been totally in the dark about Mr. Boog's intentions. Nobody even understood his incitement in the house of the Iranian painter to be a clear warning sign. Up to now, only Osama Bin Laden and Tony Blair (see note 2 below) have been suspected of using hidden messages. Who would have thought that Mr. Boog, devoted lover of cookies and pure Belgian chocolate, would be suspected of the same? Was it not for the professionalism of John Doe, whose real name, which we don't know, is kept a secret by the FBI, a disaster could have happened. Mr. Doe works for Echelon, the international spy network, and was out on a date with a girl. To impress the young woman, he demonstrated his special equipment to listen in to private citizens' phone calls. Mr. Doe and the girl enjoyed the conversations of other people, especially the conversations about relationships, Doe admitted in an exclusive interview with this newspaper. "Suddenly," said Doe, "A young man with a Rotterdam number who previously only talked about relationships, started talking about statistics. Then he talked about Hezbollah. And then he said he just bought tomatoes from an Iraqi, and now wanted to write a message wishing all his friends around the world a happy New Year. I didn't understand anything of it. But my girlfriend immediately said: the Red Digital Numbers Generating Object! And I knew I had something there and I pushed the red button! I mean, I called my chief. He didn't understand anything my girlfriend said, but he has to follow the policy: check and possibly torture everybody who talks on the phone about Hezbollah and who buys tomatoes from Iraqis. It's not for nothing that the French prevented the European Union from putting Hezbollah on their own list of terrorist groups." Echelon intercepted Mr. Boog's suspected message, his New Year's greetings, and John Doe's girlfriend is a potential hero. The only part of the message that the FBI deemed safe to show exclusively to this newspaper is: "A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!" If it wasn't for Doe's girlfriend, terrorists might have read the message Mr. Boog sent, the very same message that very well could contain hidden messages. And who knows what happens when terrorists read messages that might contain hidden messages. Suppose a terrorist is unable to find a hidden message in a suspected message. Out of frustration he might become an evil doer in practice and blow up something. What would happen when a terrorist would blow up this mysterious Red Digital Numbers Generating Object on the south side of the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam? Would he then be a terrorist according to the definition of the State Department? This could spark a debate in NATO about what terrorism exactly is, and that would be a disaster. What the hell do those red digital numbers mean? We will find out in 2002. NOTES (1) Prince in his last song in Tivoli, 24 December 1998: "I've gotta go home y'all... I've gotta go back to America I've gotta go get ready for the bomb Osama Bin Laden getting ready to bomb" (repeated several times) then later in the song: "Osama Bin Laden getting ready to bomb America... you better watch out... 2001" Oh well, probably Prince chanted "2001" because he used a theme of 'Also Sprach Zarathustra' (used in '2001: A Space Odyssey') in the jam session. On September 18th, a Dutch radio station broadcast part of the bootleg cd from the concert. A mp3 recording from this radio broadcast is available on the Internet (1.6 Mb). Part of the bootleg cd itself is also easy to find on the Net (12.4 Mb)... (2) SPIN-ON-THIS.COM, Oct. 14 - British TV viewers have contacted broadcasting authorities to request that they stop broadcasting speeches by Tony Blair. It's thought that the speeches may contain hidden messages because "the visible messages are obviously complete bollocks." The request came in response to news that the government wants 'total news control so that no dissent is ever heard '. Some have been surprised at this request; "funny, I thought they'd already fixed that." -- http://www.igorboog.com/s...happy2002/ [Edited 12/4/04 12:12pm] [Edited 12/4/04 12:13pm]

end sounded much like the planes from the trade center.. I don't understand your point. Last December is about reviewing your life before you go.... People have always lived and died, you know - 9/11 or not. I thought it's timing was unusally on when it was released. I always saw this song as a post death review. I was mourning the lost of a friend from the Trade Center at the time as well. Songs touch people in different ways. cracknbush

Throughout the 1990's, the panel found, law enforcement and intelligence experts, often in lower-level jobs, repeatedly warned that Mr. bin Laden wanted to strike inside the United States. The threat was plainly stated in documents disclosed by the commission. One, in 1998, was titled "Bin Laden Threatening to Attack U.S. Aircraft," and cited the possibility of a strike using antiaircraft missiles. Another 1998 report, referring to Mr. bin Laden as "UBL," said, "UBL Plans for Reprisals Against U.S. Targets, Possibly in U.S." A 1996 review of a plot to blow up airliners over the Pacific uncovered evidence of the Qaeda interest in crashing a hijacked plane into C.I.A. headquarters in Langley, Va. From: http://www.globalpolicy.o...rnings.htm I'm sure there are countless others, but this one I pulled up with Google simply searching for "warnings of terror attacks before 9/11 1998 clinton" Prince's brief quip at a live show in 1998 was prophet in as much that it mirrored current political warnings, but to say 'Prince is prophet' is to conjour images of him having some 6th sense, which is all too easy for the fams who worship him to tag onto, since some of them believe he is the 2nd coming any way. ยป NouveauDance [Edited 12/5/04 3:08am]
