Mine has nothing to do with Prince. I rarely use Prince avatars. In fact the only one I've ever used was Purple Rain. That's his best album, IMO.

Mine is U2's first album, Boy. Since they're #1, I thought I'd bring back one of their classics.


Prince jokingly said once, "I hate U2. No, not you, the band."

But I'm pretty sure there's no beef between Bono and Prince.

My avatar is Prince sitting at a table. I just liked the pic and remember saying how good his hair looks in it...no split ends, good use of conditioner there, P old chap, and the suit is slammin'. I often stare at the pic and wonder what he's thinking, like, "Okay, I have to go to Wal-mart and buy that purple squeeze pillow...that would look soo tight with my new purple bed throw." or "Should I buy a puppy or a kitty...hmmm".

Hey, big KISS fan here!!! I met Paul and Gene twice. They are unbelievably nice. The first time I met them was at a promotion for KISS ALIVE III many many years ago. The second time was at an intimate concert. They basically played an unplugged set. They asked people to call out songs and they performed them. IT WAS AWESOME. My Prince avatar comes from a postcard I bought who-knows-where around 10 years ago or so. I scanned it recently because it's one of my favorite pix. I especially enjoy it because he's wearing the original symbol necklace. I have yet to see this picture anywhere else. I've never seen it in Prince books or magazines. Does anyone know around what Prince era this was. The shirt he's wearing is kind of post UTCM. Maybe around the NUDE TOUR, GRAFITTI BRIDGE era. What do you think?

my avatar is more recognizably known as the cover of "diamonds and pearls" album only in the hologram version. this is the actual picture with diamond and pearl.

plus Prince made a ton of money thanx to the "when doves cry" sample on "pray"! And HE recorded at Paisly Park.therE's the Prince link (plus he did "soft and wet")

im a huge STAR WARS and Prince fan....somehow, the 2 go 2gether. fave character from s.w. is boba fett. says something about my handle as well. (star wars and prince combo)

Mine is from a Sheila E solo concert in Atlantic City, NJ in January 1987 or 1986. It was an amazing show, with Boni Boyer, Levi Seacer Jr. and I think Raphael Saddiq in the band.

I actually jumped on stage at one point during one of the last songs and kissed her on the cheek (I still can't believe I did that, but hey I was young)! Unfortunately that pic did not come out, but this one did!

I had it blown up and got Sheila to sign it when I met her this year; she was so nice she signed one for my friends too.
