2Pac Resurrection

2Pac Resurrection

I don't know if this has been previously posted here but I saw this DVD over the weekend (well two thirds of it) and I'm sure Pac makes a reference to Prince when he's talking about women. Its something like, 'I luv women, i luv women so much that sometimes I feel like calling Prince because I love women like he loves women!!'
Not much , but probably the only link I'll find between my two of my favourite artists.

When I heard him say that, I found it haunting and it scared the hell out of me.

Tupac was a little more sophisticated than what people give him credit for. He was extremely well read and cultured. Too bad his reputation(and actions)will always overshadow his talents.

if you;re a big fan surely you know he's "interpolated" a couple of prince songs into his own? 777-9311 he has used, and im not sure of the other one, but it might be if i was your girlfriend

supposedly 2pac and his friends used to dress up as prince and the revolution when they were younger, and play the 1999 album. 2pac played prince! he took it really seriously and would chastise his friends for not being as committed as he was, going on about how he organised all the practises and "gigs" etc.

so there ya go!
