What they think and say about me, they also say about Prince. A lot of people say about Prince he's had his best years and doesn't have any inspiration anymore, he can't do it anymore. But when you visit a performance of his or my group, you'll see that no-one plays better than our bands. People talk a lot shit, but look at Prince for what he is. He's a genious and an amazing musician. How can you be blind for that? Nobody can outdo him. NOBODY!!! All those bands that are so hot at the moment, wouldn't even dare to crawl up the stage to play with him! Just last night I talked to him. We are commited souls. We support eachother, it's neccesary in this business. He called me to encourage me and said things due to which I feld good. We've got lots of respect for eachother. We are musicians, true musicians. I feel the same connection with Terence Trent D'Arby. I spoke with him recently, he's just finished his new album to which I'm very curious. I'm sure it's a great album. To know that you've only got to put on his previous albums. Do you still hear music like that nowadays? Well, I don't. He's got an amazing voice, really in the order of Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye or Stevie Wonder. It seems like if he's touched by the mercy of God, on a way which you can only hear back with Aretha Franklin in her best, classical work. You know what connects us? Soul. Soul is something you have or don't have. You can't fake it. But more then the half of the artists on this earth don't have it and pretend if they do. They miss personality. I consider making music really as a mission, and that's something those people don't have.

Even though I'm a fan of all 3 artist, I would not want them to record an album together. I prefer them on their own.

Actually, I could see Prince & TTD doing something amazing together But Lenny? Seems like it would be nothing more than jamming - he's not in that league And I love the shit outta 4 of his albums

I agree, I believe Prince is a bigger star than Lenny. Prince is greater and more of an icon... Lenny seems more fake. I love Prince better than Lenny but that doesn't stop me for going to Lenny Kravitz concerts Prince, is the real thing!
