Whats ur "XMAS WISH LIST" for PRINCE?

Its coming ya'll...Xmas 2004!!!
So what would you all want Santa Prince to deliver you this Xmas?

Here's mine:

Prince - "Musicology" DVD (Live from The Palace Of Auburn Hills/Detroit)
Featuring The Videos: Cinnamon Girl, Call My Name, Musicology, and Bonus Video!

I'd also like a new experimental NPG Jazz Recording from The Band.

i don't care when it comes out, but a live musicology video's gonna be The Deal when it comes out. i know there are bootleg DVDs out there, and that's frikkin' nifty, but i want the real deal, and i want it without all the stupid flakey montagey butterfly shit and gimpy editing, or else those bootleg DVDs are gonna start looking a whole lot better to me.

and if the concert DVD came with the videos, that truly wouldn't suck.

-oh but an acoustic album would be nice too! wink

it's not at my best buy either, and the version that's currently making the retail rounds isn't an official copy - it's just one NPGMC rant away from being considered a bootleg, in fact.

woot! That's what I'm talking about! I was at that show, and I wish Prince would release that concert on DVD. We all know he would make great money from it, since the concert kicked ass, and The Time was the surprise opening act at that show.

I want Crystal Ball compilation II

I want the original '87 crystal ball album on vinyl with the intended packaging.

I want the full '87 new years concert on dvd.

I want the full birthday parade concert on dvd

I want more club song releases.

I wouldn't mind hearing the studio versions of Purple Rain and Baby I'm a Star and I Would Die For You.

I want to hear the original stripped down version of the Lovesexy Album.

If you're looking for GOLD. Go to Musicstack.com. They can find anything!! I have found two 12" that I've been looking for from the 80's. They were inexpensive and the records were in great shape. Trust me there are lots of Prince items.

I would love it if Prince wrote a book about the songs he’s written. Their
date(s) of conception, who (No names? Okay-no problem honey.) or what inspired him to write the song, Also when the song was published, though we know this fact. How long did it take you to publish it? The title of the book? “Lyrical Progenies (The Soul of Prince)”...did you think I wouldn’t provide a title?

Yeah...now I’m producing him! Ha! Prince learn to compose operas and symphonies. Write a lullaby for Baby Nelson who’s forever in your heart. Compose a symphony which conveys the love you have for Jehovah (Jesus).

Record a video of how you go about writing a song & demonstrate it, for posterity. Also release a video “America...2005 Revisit”. Have all manner of people who are now Americans dressed and dancing in their traditional manner. Then show them dancing in just blue jeans & a white t-shirt, symbolizing unity. It’ll take “one nation under one grove” to newer heights.

That’s what I want from Mr. Prince Roger Nelson for 2005. Perhaps I’m dreaming and or arrogant. I chose to call it “faith & boldness”.

A boxset of DVDs with every music video Prince has ever been in. Even the ones we have near seen! Plus a bonus DVD of related artists' videos would be nice!
