I've not sure if there was a movie for it I've been hearing things. So is their a Movie for Purple rain? what's it like?

There's nothing concrete, but I have heard that you'll see the purple bike shown on the cover in action, that some scenes may be shot at First Avenue, and a new band currently known as "U Got a Watch?" will be Prince and the Revolution's nemesis. I personally think a better name would be "U Got the Time?" or just "The Time." But maybe that's just me.

I'm seriously doubting the movie will ever happen. Prince's film career died after he starred in that remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I heard rumours of this Purple Rain movie last month...sounds like aterrible idea to me, what will that ever do for his career....theres not one song on that album that could carry a film

I've heard it's more like a running link of music videos.

At one point he puts on a gangster hat and dances whilst leaning sideways for added effect.

The ending has him turning into a ship or something-really bizarre.

I think it might've been made into a videogame or something.

Yes and Lenny Kravitz is playing Prince, Lisa Bonet is Apollonia, Tom from the Jefferson's plays his father and The Roots are the rival band that Prince(Lenny) is competing with. It will be directed by P and should be out early next year
