She Spoke To Me-Highly Underrated I was listening to "The Vault" today as I cleaned my house up. I hadn't listened to that album in about a year. When I first got it, (which was in 2002 my last year of high school  ) I played it every night before I went to bed, specially my favorite songs "Its About That Walk", "Old Friends For Sale", "Xtraordinary" and "She Spoke To Me". I know alot of peeps on here arent crazy about Prince and jazz but the breakdown in "She Spoke To Me" when the music just spazzes out into a jazzolic groove, *yes, i know I just made up the words spazzes and jazzolic  * it's hard not to wonder about how the flow must have been in the studio that day. And where did Prince get those lyrix?? Amazing. As usual, I've reacquainted myself with a Prince album/song that I shouldve never left.

I love She Spoke 2 me. I heard a few people on this site that don't care 4 the Vault but I love the whole CD. Thumbs up for the Vault and She Spoke 2 Me. When it was 1st released I wore that CD all the way outtttt  | |

Definitely underrated. One of his most exquisite works. I've always put it up there with "Kiss" and "When Doves Cry" as a once-in-a-lifetime creative outburst. | |

She spoke to me is a beautiful song  .The whole "The Vault" album is very underrated IMO  With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! OK, I'll be the first one 2 disagree. I don't like The Vault. I really have tried to get into it, but I just can't. That was one of Warner Bros. releases when they were in conflict with Prince. She Spoke 2 Me is also on the soundtrack to Girl 6, which I do like. | |
