Actually...I do believe that there are a few Orgers out there that have expressed a dislike towards this song. Personally, I think it's one of the GREATEST love songs ever written. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! |

I LOVE ADORE!! It is by far one of Prince's best songs and definitly his best ballad.
It is a PERFECT song. I NEVER get sick of hearing it. It was played at my wedding.  | |

Yeah, what PurpleJedi said! I just can't stay away from a thread paying homage to this song. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose, but as for me, I would marry this song! It is one of those songs that just hits me emotionally, you know. I love everything from the lyrics to his vocals...the way he seamlessly goes from his ultra high registers to lower ones in an instant (for very brief periods of times mind you). He sounds like he was really feeling this song to me. I think he is underrated as a vocalist in general, but i think his falsetto is so great here! Hurray for Adore...it's one of the nice things about being alive for me!    "Vous ete tres belle mama, girls and boys"
