Which band DID Billy Sparks boot out after Purple Rain ended? That was the basis for the whole story, and we never found out the answer. Morris, Jerome and Apples were dancing away during I Would Die 4 U and Baby I'm A Star, so I'm guessing Dez's band got kicked off.

The truth:
Prince sang "Purple Rain", and everyone loved him. He came back and did "Baby I'm A Star" and "I Would Die 4 U" and the crowd goes wild. Afterwards, he cleaned up his dad's basement and noticed all the written music... Apples was there to help. He quickly said "fuck you" to Billy and signed with Warner Bros.... leaving Billy with no Prince, no Apples and no Morris... cuz he went on to clip hair on a lousy sit-com.
Dez is still playing there on slow nights.
