Tough one, "Adore" and "If I Was Your Girlfriend" are serious candidates, but I think "Crystal Ball" is the ultimate Prince song for me. To me this track is Prince at his best: funky, adventurous, sonically interesting, good lyrics and theme AND the Clare Fischer Orchestra is involved...

Prince Fan Apparently Gave Wrong Answer

Assoc. Press- Local Prince fan S. Johnson was found slain last Friday upon
responding inaccurately to the demands of a crazed gunman.
"It was horrible," a witness, a local man known only as 'Baconskin' told the press.
"I was on my way out of Popeye's with a 2-piece, and my buddy Alfred stopped and
pointed. I asked him what it was, but he wouldn't respond. I asked him, I said, 'Alfred ?! Why aren't ya talkin' to me, Alfred ?! What's the matter, don't you like me ?' and he just took off runnin', I looked and a big ol' dude had this kid in a headlock, pushin' a gun on his temple." A visibly shaken Baconskin reported.

The threat of the situation elevated as the gunman reportedly demanded the kid tell him what his personal favorite Prince song was. An unsuspecting Baconskin could only look on in horror at what unfolded.

"I couldn't believe it," Baconskin continued. "The kid said his favorite song was 'WEDDING FEAST' ! At first I was like 'Oh, lawd'. And before I knew it, the kid had a hole in his head the size of a Hardee's thickburger and the gunman took off runnin'"

Unfortunately, the identity of the gunman has not yet been confirmed as of press time.

"Open up your hat ! You can't _____ with me, I'm too old- LOOKOUT !" Baconskin added.
