Ebert and Roeper reviewed "Purple Rain" DVD

It was Richard Roeper's video pick of the week -- even though he lamented the lack of Princely participation, and said that it was the best film of its kind since "A Hard Day's Night" and the only thing relatively close in hte year's since has been "8 Mile."

Ebert gave it a thumbs up back in '84.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
