And God Created Woman Appreciation Thread! So I decided to revist the symbol album last night and had to repeat And God Created Woman at least 10 times. My, this is such a beautiful song. The lyrics are amazing, the background vocals, and those horns. This is a classic Prince cut right here. So beautiful, so show some love for this song please!!!!! |

I guess the cool thing about being a Prince fan is that so many people have so different opinions of different songs. Deacon, this song is the sh!t. I mean it is absolutely beautiful. Go take another listen, I'm sure you'll see some response for those who love this song. |

AGCW is one of Prince's finest tracks of any era. A terse, exquisite, heartfelt ballad.

Great song...love the beginning, the bass or whatever all low and subtle and then the drums come in...the song still gives me chills 12 years later. Totally reminds me of college...listened to this osng all the time. Extremely soulful, love it, love it, love it. Underrated classic! All good things they say never last... | |

I decided 2 go 2 Uptown in Minneapolis and listen 2 the Symbol album without skipping "And God Created Woman" "The Flow" and "3 Chains O Gold" And God Created Woman is a very very nice song indeed. I loved it, especially the ending.. "ooohh ho ho hoo!" 
After that i had 2 really REALLY bare "3 Chains O Gold" Ugh. That song is still bad. The Flow, 3 Chains O Gold, and  Wanna Melt With U should've been left off...or used as B-sidesStraight Jacket Funk Affair
