WTF is happening with uk release of Cinnamon Girl? i heard it a couple of times on the radio about a month ago.
I havent heard it since. Is there a video being made for it? someone must have some answers!!! is he going to pull the plug on it too? Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

The found that every time the song was played people started sucking each others nuts. It's such a distraction in the workplace they decided to pull it.  Daaaaamn you, subliminal messages! The release got put back yet again.
Personally I don't think they will release it. I think they know that no track on Musicology would do much in the UK charts, so why bother? They are just sending out promo cds to radio stations, getting them to play tracks to promote the album by saying this will be the new single, and then when they've got as much exposure for the album out of it as possible (and probably fulfilling their contract with Prince to promote it), they are pulling the plug before they lose money on actually putting a cd out. No point in putting a single out with no video and without Prince over here to promote it. | |
