Cool!
However... Prince earned a 10 out of 10 for sex appeal, in a vote of editors, and kudos for singing like an "oversexed elf."

Well when you have had band members like Tony M., Cat Glover, and that guy with the furry hat, it was only a matter of time.
I don't know if I agree with this award. I mean the man is a genius but don't you have to keep a band for longer than 2 or 3 years to be a frontman? His band members by and large have been disposible, with a few obvious exceptions. And the list of disgruntled, underpaid, and scarred for life ex-band mates is a mile long. Prince has mellowed in recent years but he's certainly been hell on his past employees. Best Front Man...not really buying it. All good things they say never last...

Singing like an oversexed elf? Yeah, and since when does singing like "an oversexed elf" bring kudos?

Is he going to be on the cover of SPIN? If so, it's one more mag for the collection? Whatever. Jeux Sans Frontiers

I think in terms of completeness as a musician/performer whether he is seen as a solo artist or member of a band, as with the NPG, qualifies him as one of the foremost front men in music. Its possible for him to get the vote just based on his genius, plus, he's hot right now and the press is all over him, for good or ill.
i don't think anyone comes close to P.

Frontman is exactly that.....in front of anyband that he's put 2gether. It does'nt matter how many versions of the band as long as P's in the front it don't matter! Only James Brown comes close and i mean a close 2nd which is amazing bcuz JB did'nt play any instuments on stage but every1 else including Springsteen bites the dust. P's the greatest all around performer ever....which makes him #1 frontman. Period!i don't think anyone comes close to P. U,ME,WE!....2FUNKY!
