My sister is 13. We're cool on most subjects, but she HATES Prince. She's made it her mission in life to make fun of him as much as she can, especially around me. So I was on the deck tonight, just hanging out, a couple of hours ago, watching fireworks with her, and listening to music. She was playing some Hip Hop and Reggae so I took out her 50 Cent, Sean Paul, R. Kelly, Missy Elliott, Outkast, etc., like "which one do you want me to put on next?" She said "put on that Prince one" Yeah I almost collapsed. She told me "I dunno what it is, the party one you had on a couple of days ago, with the 'nose done thing' and the girls voice singing. So I figured it was "Life 'O' the Party" and put it on. That made my Fourth of July much better. I was surprised, out of all the cool songs on Musicology, she likes "Life 'O' the party" the best? Well, I should just be grateful she requested Prince music I guess.
She wants me to make her a copy. How cool is that?!? She has no idea how happy she made me!

That's the worst track on the album.

I don't get it. I love Life O' The Party. The more I play it the more I like it. The tour version is much better than the album version though, more music in it

imagine, if u will, a video Prince, runnin around dancin doin his thang, splits,etc., with background choreographed dancers.

two non-prince fans have really liked it when the disc has been spinning and that's come on. i've just stood there with my jaw on the floor. like, "have you no taste??"

maybe i'm the one without it. who knows.
