If we assume that he really is planning to release a new album this year, then he really should have given out a press release about it BEFORE the Grammy performance. The longer he waits after it, the less effect it will have (obviously).

I'm hoping this is gossip. Even though I like Beyonce, I was hoping Prince and his band would showcase their talents alone.

Also, if hes gonna b doing a sizzling number with Beyonce at the Grammys, as was mentioned in the USAToday article(if indeed this is true!!), then how come he doesnt do sizzling numbers for us fans at concerts anymore!!! ???

Well Prince was a no show at Clive's party.
But if you get a chance to see it replayed it was very entertaining. I think Jamie Fox stole the show, the freestyle with him Alicia Keyes and Angie Stone at the very end was worth staying up for.
