Did anyone notice the photo credits? Yes, the one and only Steve Parke! Sheila got EVERYONE to help out! I mean EVERYONE!! LOL Even the lighting guy for the event was the same guy who worked on the Purple Rain tour. Too cool. | |

Everyone except Morris Pay and Prince. It's funny that all Sheila had to do was ask these people, pick up a phone and ask, not just put it on her website and hope that people would show up  | |

I know about Roy Bennett (did stage and lighting for Prince tours and was married to Brenda in V/A 6). But who is Steve Parke? Was he the official Prince photographer back then? |

Steve has been doing pixs for Prince for awhile but not back in the day. His photographer back then was Jeff Katz. Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council. | |

Man, looking at those pics brought back great memories. I hope they do it again, and I hope every Prince fan gets to go.

She DID ask Morris Day, but he wanted to be paid to perform, even though it was a benefit for abused children and EVERYBODY else performing DONATED their talents. And Prince, he was also asked, but decided not to show up for whatever reason. Everybody's happy he didn't show up anyway. | |

I was talking about how she got all these people to show up BECAUSE she picked up the phone and asked, NOT just put it on her website assuming that people would read it like Prince does.  | |
