The "Unsigned: Twin Cities" CD will be released on June 26th. This CD spotlights nine musical artists from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. And " The Upper Room with Joe Kelley" will feature this Friday two of the talented artists on this collection: LA & ALEX WHITFIELD. The interviews will run from 10pm-10am EST.

LA is a multi-talented hip-hop artist, producer, and songwriter. He has written songs with Next, Slum Village, and J Isaac Moore. His innovative productions feature head-banging beats and a unique flow on the mic. The track "All I Do" is available for listening on www.unsignedrecordings.com.

ALEX WHITFIELD is a 17 year old singer, songwriter and musician whose soulful vocals bring exciting promise to the MPLS music scene. Check out his song, "Why?" on the www.unsignedrecordings.com site. It is a real standout.
