prince appearance on new musiq cd ?

"justfriends (sunny)if you want me to stay" is the last track on the new promo sampler of musiq's new cd, and if my ear's don't fail me, it sounds like prince on guitar and even maceo on sax on this live cut, which i reckon was recorded at paisley park's xenophobia celebration 2002. if im not wrong, i think this track me even be on the bootleg of the celly set. track is 4.27 long. the cover says the release day is 9th december on defsoul. the mods at npgmc have referred 2 this cd.

http://www.musicsoulchild.com/ is his website

(PS please post this as annonymous, thanx!)

here is the official tracklisting for his cd

Soulstar
You Love Me
Womanopoly
For The Night
Miss You
Who Knows
Infatueighties
Reason
In Your Life
Leave a Message
Her/Don't Stop
Whatever You Decide
Romancipation Moment in Life

the promo tracklisting is

intro
soulstar

the promo is only a sampler without full trax. i think the justfriends/sunny track is actually from the it aint over cd, maybe its a general sampler 4 musiq rather than the album

this song (Just Friends (Sunny)) was already included on Musiq's 'Aijuswannaseing' CD that was released in May 2001

it's a live version on the promo tho, and prince's guitar and maceos sax r pretty unmistakable. i think the promo is just a musiq general sampler 2 promote the new cd out in december

This live cut could also be from the It Ain't Over bonus disc of aftershow songs that came with the One Nite Alone...Live! set. I love that song by the way!
Strange, but I'm more comfortable around you naked.

gosh, this is really important news. The only mistake of prince was the presence of mr Musiq (no talent whatsoever)on the aftershowcd. I sincerely hope we don't have to hear more of this man.

Yeah...

It's a drag that he's so off key. It blows my mind that this made it on "It Ain't Over" I wonder if Musiq wanted people 2 hear this.
"He's a musician's musician..."

I remember that we all got tired of Musiq during the celebration. He droned on for what seemed like forever.

I attended the NY aftershow and personally I feel that Musiq's presence was one of the more inspiring moments of the show. The overdubbed version on the aftershow CD is not doing any right to Musiq's performance that evening.
