Arle

I can not read any criptic n that post, it's the truth, I understand, I believe it is so. And I do not remember, when it was the last time I've had that experience.

Found this rather odd message in the News Section of the NPGMC website:

"Xcerpt from the 4thcoming:
"Modern technology has given us the means 2 produce an endless supply of nearly perfect copies of an original. But it cannot reproduce INSPIRATION — and neither can it produce perfect copies of the sensations u felt in ur body, mind and soul the last time u found urself in tune with a work of art that u were xperiencing. This is something u need 2 constantly work on, and u also need 2 learn 2 accept the fact that such sensations r never twice the same." -NPGMC 2003"

Does any orger have a clue?

Thanks

CRYPTIC? I dont think this message is hard 2 decipher at all. It means, IMO, that the feelings one had inside oneself at the time of birth of a peice of art one gave birth to, ( whether that art is music, paintings, sculpture, or any other form of creativity ) is & will always be "THE ORIGINAL", and "TRUE" form of its resurrection. Those feelings/thoughts that took place at the time of it's birth within the artist, will never be duplicated again in our lifetime. We never experience the "same" twice, which makes the "original peice" so valuable. Thats why, I believe prince values his music so much, and especially the music he keeps in the vault & the music he doesnt want "stolen" from him at his concerts or rehearsals etc. (bootlegs) Also, we all know that when music is recorded the very 1st time, thats when it is at it's most heartfelt by the artist, so when he/she plays that very same song on another album or "LIVE" & at various venues, it NEVER will sound EXACTLY the same as when it was born. In that way too, we all, as humans, R very different & unique despite our sometimes common characteristics and similiar opinions/ideas on things.
May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love. hug kisses

to me this was pretty straight forward. This is to indicate to everyone that will listen that no more after this, after this tour you can request till your blue in the face but he will not sing that stuff no' more. Now that is untill he needs to make a boat load of money and you know what? He will always be able to get someone to pay to see him conjour up another version of one of his hits to get that dollar. I can understand his plight and frustration, as a designer you want to challenge yourself and to seek new if you keep making the same old jacket, no matter how many times you change the buttons, the trim or the cut, the jacket remains the same and if your an artist that can not only drive you mad, but can start to make you doubt you can come up with anything original again and for that matter if you ever did have something original. That jacket may be your bread and butter(Karl Largerfield could tell you all about it...the 200th version of the chanel suit, but is he really dressing his soul or his wallet.)

Prince dress the soul and I'll be there to watch.
