I just received this email;

In part 1, Mica Paris examines Prince¹s best releases of the 1980¹s.
>From the controversial funk rock of Dirty Mind to the breakthrough success of 1999 and the era-defining Sign o the Times.
A producer of many guises we also hear his work with Sinead O Connor, the Bangles, Alicia Keys and Mica Paris...

Saturday 25th, bbc radio 2, 88-91fm - 9-10pm
In part 2 we examine the mystery of the most famous non-release of 1987, the Black Album and look at the meaning of his favourite word of 1988, Lovesexy. In the 1990¹s his relationship with Warner Brothers sours when he changes his name to an impronouncible symbol and tours the world with "slave" written on his face. In 2003 his name is Prince again and although he¹s without a record deal, he is cultivating a new relationship with hi audience and he's as prolific as ever
The series features contributions from Chaka Kahn, Alexander O Neale, Jimmy Jam, George Clinton, & members of The Revolution.

Please put this date in you diaries and spread the news to any fellow music lovers who you think may be interested.
And finally, to quote the man himself, "If I was your girlfriend..." No wait...
"If there were just one day, when everybody told the truth, we'd all trade bank accounts, and move to Neptune"...

Something to look forward too. I wish they would do another Omnibus documentry. I still have the original one that broadcasted...phew! must be aproximatly 12 years ago! I found it really enjoyable, an updated version is long overdue.
