There was a snippet in the mirror newspaper 2day that claims a friend of Prince's recently said, "he told me he had 50 albums in his house in Minnesota, most of it will never be released, but he desperately wants to get some of it out to his fans"

Yeah sure... he "desperately" wants to get the music out to the fans. He's obviously just waiting for the right moment.

What he really needs is an online music club, then he could easily release all of the stuff he is desperate to get out.

I wonder who this "friend" is?

even thru the club, releasing a "physical" cd is costy. I think the download path was not too bad. He could virtually give us an outtake everyday with the download method!
