Concerning Belgium , Prince is not going to play in the intimate Forest National in Brussel , 7000 seats , instead he's playing the Sportpaleis in Antwerp . A venue that can host for 20000 people .

Where's the 'intimate atmosphere' that was in the American Theatre concerts ?

I think nowadays in Belgium Prince can not get 20 000 people in Antwerp , especially when he's not playing a best of set and certainly not when tickets cost around 4000 5000 6000 fr / 100 125 150 euro .

What do other Belgians think about this statement ?

I remember Vorst nationaal 95 , the highest seatingrows from the theatre was not open for public . it was covered by some kind of curtain .

Maybe this time in Antwerp the upper rows with seats right below the ceiling are also closed ?

Suppose that the audiance is only on the floor and in one row around the floor , just above the cyclingtrack , then the people maybe are reduced to 7000 1000 ?

www.sportpaleis.be that's the venue .

Concerning Belgium, I agree with Purple and DJLeFreak, Antwerp is the worst possible venue in Belgium. I'm not sure it will be sold out. All my friends I tell Prince is preparing a tour ask me the same : 'What is Prince up to the last few years ?'

DUBLIN !!!
Wow, never expected Prince to include Dublin so this is such great news. Last time he was here was 1995 on the live experince tour which was amazing. The aftershow party in pod included a duet with Bono of U2 on 'The Cross'.

The point has a great atmosphere and holds 6000-9000 people depending on setup. Lova ya Prince, thanks for including IRELAND

great!

BUT looking at the tour schedule (esp 13-19 oct!), I think it means a lot of travelling back and forth. I wonder if there is any time left for aftershows...

Let's just hope there will be... pray

yeeaah and i remenber Bart shitting on me coz i wanted to check Sportpaleis...("why not Liege blablabla"); this being said, it probably is the worst possible venue in Belgium (Vooruit would be AWESOME); well, what the heck, i saw him in the Warner Theater in DC with Santana as special guest at Eastern, so this makes it up...and Flanders Expo '98 wasn't so bad and acoustic is also supposed to be very bad there (and mostly is)...

The presale tickets are priced at $100.00 (yes that is dollars) on the NPGMusicClub site for the first three concerts in London.

So £65.00 is about right.

I Can't believe he's playing in Oberhausen. That's so so near. Normally he played Dortmund or Cologne (or Essen in 1986).

Order from the NPGMC site, then pick them up at the venue (on the concert date) using your ID.

Concerning Belgium : i also regret he choose Antwerpen. That's not the right place for a "intimate" concert and it has a bad sound reputation. I also hoped 4 Vorst (Brussels; fantastic concert in 1998) or even a smaller location.
But nevertheless, i'm very excited i can see (hear) him again!
