NPGMusicClub in Rolling Stone

In the September 5, 2002 issue (same that featured the Name Change as #33 in the 50 Most Bizarre Moments in Rock), NPGMusicClub is featured in "Rip+Burn: The Last Digital-Music Guide You'll Ever Need" under Best Band Sites. Here's the text:

Prince wants you to pay $100 a year for access to his musical archives, but he offers enough freebies to make a visit worthwhile.

Also featured are Weezer.com, REMHQ.com, Bjork.com, and SmashingPumpkins.com.
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark

I wouldn't mind paying a $1000 for access to Prince's musical archives. But $100 for a piano album I already have? That's a little steep.

Nice article for all the broke ass cry babies that want all kinds of shit without joining and then constantly question if it is worth $100. It says what I have been saying from the first year: Prince hooks us up for $100

Hey Yall,
Keep in mind this is all UNCONFIRMED!! So don't get all huffy about the situation. You all know how Prince always surprizes us with unusuall and different things. Keept it cool till this stuff actually drops!

Peace out like a mo-fo.

I make a shit load of money, but if I was a millionaire it still wouldn't be enogh to give a down the drain 80's hack one hundred dollars for just about nothing. What have you NPGMC members got to show for the $100 you have forked over? One half hearted EP demo thing? I was able to download all of One Nite Alone from kazaa.com and after one listen I deleted it from harddrive and haven't missed it. Prince is a con artist. I'm a fan of his now for nostalgic reasons only.
