Sorry to spoil the party... but I think I'll try to take a more serious approach 
I'm not really sure when this site was updated the last time yet this one I found when googling up "Cat Glover": http://www.angelfire.com/...t/cat.html If you don't want to go there here's the main info: "Since that time [with Prince] she has been busy in London and Los Angeles recording her own material as well as continuing her choreography and performing. She has recorded with Tim Simenon of Bomb The Bass [ok, this is common knowledge], Louie Louie, and is currently recording with Steve Hopkins. She has performed in London and Los Angeles including Glam Slam L.A. last year [well, *which* "last year"? Glam Slam is closed for some time now, isn't it?]. She currently has a single out in Europe called "The Big Chill" and is preparing for a promotional tour this fall. This website is here to provide information about her current activities and to celebrate her past accomplishments. She has given us her full support and though she is unable to receive email at this time, we do keep close contact with her concerning this site." Not much more to find over there... Wolf | |

Let me help clarify and somewhat update you...although this is very old news. Yes, Cat did perform at Glam Slam here in L.A.(okay, I had to bust out the old photo albums). It was Saturday July 23,1994. The show was free if I recall correctly and the only reason I went was because the flyer said appearing "very special guest". Of course, thinking what every Prince fan is thinking I went. Well, her special guest was Louie Louie. Her show was absolutely awful, the songs were tired. When she wanted to get the crowd worked up she would do the "Cat Scat" or whatever that dance she does and people would scream the first ten times she did it. She was wearing her old clothes from the LoveSexy tour and those black leggings she wore had bleach stains in them. By the end of the show she had cleared the club and I was embarrased I drug two of my friends to that crap and believe me they ragged on my azz for a looong time thereafter.
She would also pop up for special occasions. I remember seeing her there for Glam Slam Ulysses. She was working the crowd, that was until Carmen showed up and everybody was like "Cat who?..." She probably hung out there on the regular. I only went for shows. The last bit of dirt on what ever happened to...This is also around the same time. She had commissioned a designer friend of mine who has a store on Melrose (he did Madonna's silver dress in "Bedtime Stories") to create a bunch of costumes for her upcoming show/tour. He said that all of her checks bounced and that she was an alcoholic now and that he wasn't going to waste his time if she couldn't come up with the deposit at least. Now, normally I wouldn't go for this type of story/info but, he knows absolutely nothing about Prince and she was throwing Prince's name around (I guess for collateral) and I am the only one he knows that digs Prince so he asked me if she really was associated with him and then proceeded to tell me the sorted details. Well, I hope that brings you up to date at least by '94 standards  )
