I am missing Mayte I am watching the VH1 Fashion Awards when Prince did Pussy Control. Mayte and all that ass is making me miss her in the worst way. Anyone have any lotion? | |

Actually I miss her too...she was fine! I saw her on TV with Tommy Lee and I think she still looks hot as hell.
Haven't seen Mani enough to form an opinion on her yet. I am guessing she's just as fine judging by Prince's taste in women. | |

But don't get me wrong: I have nothing against Mayte. She is kind of cute and she & Prince obviously matched quite well. I just think she wasn't much talented (at least the talents we were allowed to see & judge) and Prince was way too focussed on her for years. Mayte was his companion during the time he changed from a weird superstar to a weird has-been-superstar. Now as she's gone, his music gets better again (TRC) and his creativity is not blocked in any way. That may be the reason why many fans don't like Mayte too much. Much of that can said about Larry Graham, too. At least he is a REAL musician but he soaked Prince into that JW stuff. That's what I cannot forgive him. | |

And people gonna hold EVERYTHING against Mayte? What the...???
Please. Prince has a mind of his own, and every decision he made in that studio was his. If anything, not Mayte's fault, but his own, if we look at it from the same perspective. If some people just happened not to like his music at one time or another, and if it's all because of a woman he happened to be in love with at a time, pretty soon, you're going to hear, 'TRC' sucked, and it's all because of Mani', or some other person, as if we haven't heard that crap already.
