interesting concept

What's the matter with your life
Is poverty bringing U down?
Is the mailman jerking U 'round?
Did he put your million dollar check
In someone else's box?
Tell me, what's the matter with your world

A few artist have used pledge music campaigns to get their records recorded. I honestly do not know why this is news to anyone.

What's objectionable on there? That she's selling stuff she played on stage with Prince?

Nothing is objectionable because it all her stuff and she is using the money to get record made. That is her stuff and remember the estate has some of her belongings on a lock down at Paisley Park.

^^ 100% true.

.

Probably was just in storage or something like that before, anyway. Hanging on a wall, not doing anyone any good. Now she can self-finance her music, and a fan gets something super cool.

Sure it was just sitting around and she exactly did sell off some of her stuff before for her non-profit.

A lot of artist are self-financing their music these days using pledge and even kick-starter. I think some people forget even Prince was using a peer to peer process to distrubute Hit and Run.

DIY is in the spirit of what he was about going back to his playing with his bands in hotel ballrooms.

I did. It's a Pledge musics campaign. Whats your objection? She raises money to get her music made. This is pretty standard practice these days.
