Does the FBI normally investigate painkiller overdoses?

- No, the DEA does and they are investigating this case. It is still an active investigate.

I like the gossip but I won't buy Mayte's book. What would be in there that we don't already know? Plus, how can she claim this being her truth when Prince is no longer around to confirm.

I am not buying her book either because I do not want revisionist history. I am not giving her any of my money.

Truth probably isn't the right word. She's telling her side of the story. Obviously there will be verifiable claims/facts in the book but there will be other stuff that only she and Prince know what really happened. We have to hope the way she relays that stuff is based on what really happened even if it doesn't always make her look good.

There is/was a clip by two sports announcers on YT about Prince being the biggest player of "having" the most women and the largest female fan base. Actually they use a different name for that. Prince remained such an enigma up to his death and if these women can shed light to his story or about him, so be it. These relationships were part of his life. I have not heard one of the women that were involved with him either personally or professionally, except that one nut...where he made her watch movies of him with other women have said anything unkind or malicious about him. Most mention that he was a good guy and they loved him. Elisa continued to work with him years later and mentions that something is not right about his death going on 10 months later. Mayte still loves him and he was the father of their children. Had she something bad to say about him, she did not need to write a book now to do it. She had plenty of opportunity beforehand to bad mouth him. It's better than talking to a newspaper about how good he was in bed.

Why would she need Prince around to confirm her truth?

How would we know what she says about Prince is true if he is not around to support or deny it? It is disrespectful to write a story involving someone who is no longer around to as if taking opportunity to write anything that woudl sell.

If HER truth is not about Prince, how many people want to know what her story is about?

Just like we don't know if anything on that book is true. Being married doesn't make it any different from any other relationships. She needs to stop claiming that title as a tool to sell her side of the story. We haven't seen her involved in his life for almost 20 years.

Not going there again about people in P's live writing books....easy solution for those that don't like it don't purchase. In some cases, some of the proceeds go to support other causes such as Yes We Code. Elisa FB post thread.....Peace. Have a good day.

These women were a part of prince's life and they have the right to express their experience, if you have a problem with them writing book than don't buy it, rent it, or lurk on threads about it..that simple. I'd rather read a book coming from a person like mayte who actually knew him than a person like Alex Hahn

1- We all have a right to express our experience but selling it under the name of a megastar is disrespectful. period. I'm not going to read it actually a whole lot of people won't either.

2- What is the tille of this thread? Nothing about Mayte at all. Who's lurking now about other women Prince had? If you are tired of hearing us bitch about Mayte and her book, which will never stop, stop trying to promote her or bringing her up.

Lol i never mentioned mayte until you insinuated about her writing a book about her life with him, people are actually name calling elisa because she said she was in a relationship with him back in the day, it doesn't matter if the book had a different title prince will be mentioned in the book regardless , he was a huge part of her life since she was 16.

Thus let's give Elisa a voice. It is about her thread.
Funny Strawberry talks about lurking on Mayte's threads, has she even read the title, jeez. The fake claims from Mayte's fans are one of the reasons why she has little success on here.

No, you mentionned haters lurking on threads about Mayte. It clearly does not apply on this thread since it is about Elisa.

I'm tired of Mayte's fans claiming bootlegging, lurkers, bigotry, and what not to speak on her behalf. Not that you did that but overall, this is how her fans have been portrayed making the hatred worse.

I don't care who writes a book whether it's from Susannah, wendy and lisa, andre cymone, or devin devasquez.i love reading stories about our man whether the good or the bad stories, prince is no longer here with us so i treasure these stories from the people who loved him with all of their hearts.I'd rather hear stories from elisa or mayte than a person like alex hahn who never knew him personally.
