So far, I think the story is pretty cute, albeit a bit grammatically challenged. One thing I don't like is that the author makes it seem that Andy is not really a songwriter and Prince just writes the songs and gives them to her. I think that feeds into the notion that Prince actually wrote her album. According to Andy, she also co-wrote "Time" and "What It Feels Like." Folks forget that Andy already had an independent album before she met Prince.

What happened to the other thread that was on Prince Music and More? BTW, there is a picture of them at the Dakato Club perhaps enjoying a show on the Prince Pix part 9 thread.

Thanks, joy. Only the moderators know what happened to the thread. All they will say is that they received a request for moderation, so it has now been "hidden for moderation" since the early hours of Tuesday morning. I have been receiving many orgNotes inquiring about it ever since.

BTW: Thanks for the heads-up regarding that lovely Dakota Jazz Club photo of Prince and Andy. I will check it out there. It first posted it on the thread Monday night. Everything seemed to go crazy after that.

Lastly, I posted this highly entertaining fan fiction on the Prince: Music & More, but a moderator buried it here, in spite of the fact that Prince fan fiction has always been in the PM&M forum.

Sounds like you like it, ChanGirl!! I wish I could take credit for it, but no. I do think the writer was following the Prince and Andy thread very closely, as were over 100,000 people. It's a pity that the thread is gone; however, I suppose some are happy.

Hi, I'm kinda new here but I just wanted to say that I am the author of this fanfiction It's been in my drafts for two years now and after P's passing, I thought I'd tweak it and share it. Btw, thanks for the criticism. I always like hearing feedback because I know my writing is pretty crummy :/ but I am slowly improving with the right inspirations!
