Lake Minnetonka - the band

So a former Orger named Hatman, aka Adam Rudegeair, is an accomplished jazz musician and songwriter from Melbourne, AUS. His former projects, including Neon Bogart & Bowie Project, have been hailed by critics and fans alike.

Last year, Adam and friends started a new band called Lake Minnetonka, which is a jazz-infused funk band. They've done a couple of Prince covers, including Madhouse's "Ten", and The Family's "Mutiny". They released a new single, "Clipnosis", earlier this year. And a new video for "Heavy Bread" (from the EP noted below). "Clipnosis" features Sonny T. on bass, and Matt "Doctor" Fink" on keyboards, and was recorded at Fink's StarVu studios in Edina, Minnesota. Adam has also played with Larry Graham.

The band is:

Adam Rudegeair - Keyboards
David Gooey - Guitar
Jon Hunt - Bari Sax
'A.J.' Jackson - Tenor Sax
Ann Metry - Bass
Nick Karasavvidis - Drums

Adam is a huge Bowie fan too, and if you dig into the YouTube channel you can find his interpretations of Bowie tunes.

You can hear the Prince covers on the bandcamp link below. (They have three releases on the page itself; the link is to that particular EP.)
