no doubt he could have been. i meant the part about dying alone in an elevator in his 50s with no family(something he made very clear that he wanted). the chasing was clearly a favorite pastime of his as well as a substitute for more substantial relationships.

It's not like he didn't try to have a family. It just didn't work out for him. Maybe he figured it wasn't meant to be for him, (God's will) so he didn't try again.
