Hi

I am trying to find the exact date or at least month of the overdose Denise talked alot about in her preaching. I thought it was sometime in 1994. All I can find is a news clip from Inside Edition that is labeled 1993 (I think its mislabeled) which talk about it "earlier this year".

Any help will be appreciated.

It's important because it was the big event in her life which turned it around against drugs and toward full time service.

Yes, she definitely could have. But i think she wants the time it put her in the hospital and she was told she had only 3 days to live..she had a stroke, heart attack, lost her sight and hearing, etc. it was right b4 she gave herself over to God 100% which is why she lived another 20 plus yrs i believe.

Didn't Sheila E ask everyone and Arseino Hall on his show to pray for Vanity in 1993?

Either way, she said she was in the hospital for months after it bcuz they told her she was dying and had major organ shut down. It could have been late 1993-94 i don't know that a few months would make that big of a difference at this point?

thanks you guys. I believe she freaked out after the Northridge Earthquake in January 1994, moved out of LA to Oakland and was found in hospital that month.

well i know she was on joan rivers in 1992(speaking in tongues and being a ... better yet let me not go there ) so did she turn to a born again before the drug overdose / organ failure
