There was. He was a co-star in a sitcom and it took place in a hair salon. Can't recall the name of it but it aired in the late 80's.

He and Jerome were going to be hotel detectives, "Hotel Dicks;" don't know if this one ever got to pilot.

New Attitude ran in the fall of 1990 on ABC. I think I watched some of it--but I can't say for sure. I've got a clip playing right now that I found on Youtube. It's set in a beauty shop--he's a hairdresser, and he's currently happy about getting jury duty because everyone else is female--and the guy's on trial ("for making porno movies"?. Sheryl Lee Ralph and Larenz Tate are in it.

Yeah. I've seen this. Wow. It is not good. I've got to keep watching.

Lol- yes. I swore I remembered watching it and then I wasn't sure if he guest starred or it was a video.

And I do remember Hotel Dicks rumors. Lawd, that would have heen hilarious. Or not...

I'm off to YouTube now!

He was on another short-lived sitcom with a young Tisha Campbell-Martin in the late '80s titled "Heart and Soul". The pilot episode used to be on YT, but it fell off the face of the earth again i guess lol.

Morris was also on 227 playing a Coming To America style prince of a country. One of the Encore channels was airing 227 until a few months ago.

I remember that episode. I was watching 227 on youtube and floored when Morris popped up on the screen.

It was called New Attitude and they aired 6 episodes. He also appeared in a pilot called Heart and Soul. There was also an unaired pilot tentively called Hotel Dicks with him and Jerome. He guest stared on 227 as a prince(the whole time I was yelling that's not Prince its Morris) He also guest on Moesha and Eve. He also did a voice work on a short lived Saturday morning cartoon with Jerome.

"He was in the Richard Pryor Moving"....I remember reading in a magazine (I think E!) that Morris was supposedly going to play the role of Richard Pryor (1992-93) in a biopic. Damon Wayans was another name mentioned too.
