I hought Action Jackson was great. loved all os deinse/ vanity's films ( Tanya's island, Deadly Illusion, South Beach, Etc.) Never Too young To die is one of my favorites. I wish they would release this on DVD as well as Deadly Illusion. ^^remember the TV movie she did in 1991....it was called 'Memories Of Murder'? It came on a cable TV channel.In one scene,Vanitys character can be heard on a tape recorder,saying over and over...

"round and round....see kitty run....when kitty stops....mousie all done"

I understand that Vanity never became a really big star due to her drug problems but what happened to Carl Weathers? He was kinda big in the mid to late 80s (Rocky movies, Predator, Action Jackson) but fell under the radar after that. I´ve never seen him in any newer movies, whereas most other 80s actors still star on TV shows or movies.

Sly Stallone couldn´t use footage of Apollo Creed in Rocky VI (Rocky Balboa), Mr.Weathers also wanted a role in the movie even though he had died in Rocky IV and wanted to be paid for the use of his image in the old footage, that´s why you don´t really see his face in that movie. I guess that´s the reason why he isn´t in Expendables.

Sly also didn´t want Bruce Willis anymore because he acted like a spoiled little diva on set.

I´ve just googled Mr.Weathers and he´s had surprisingly few appearances in some movies and on some TV shows. I wonder why.

Still looks fit but a tad weird without the typical mustache and hair.

Yeah, that was a good one. I liked her other antagonist roles such as The Highlnder or the episode of Counterstrike where she played an assassin. I thought she was really good in these roles.
