Even though I love Sinead's version, Prince and Rosie's in the definative version in my book. The lyrics of the song call for passionate over-emoting. I believed them when they SANG that song! The Family's version I never cared for at all.

I'd say some of the versions he's been doing over the last 12 months have been his best, especially at The roundhouse last June.

I would love to hear a "soulful" rendition by Rosie Gaines using the minor chord that was added to Sinead's arrangement of the title lyric. That one chord is what changes the whole thing for me (and makes it better).
