Lyrical ideas that Prince recycled on his protege albums

Did you ever notice how,back in the 80s and 90s when Prince had proteges,you would play their albums and hear certain lyrics or phrases that he used on his own songs? lol Here are some examples....

Erotic City---"maybe we can make some time"

Sex Shooter by Apollonia 6---"come on boy,let's make some time"

My Name Is Prince---"I am funky....when it comes to funk,I am a junkie"

Get On Up by Carmen Elektra---"all aboard,all aboard cause I'm gettin' funky....as you know,as you know I'm a party junkie"

Can you guys think of any others?

One instance that always stood out to me was the "1 2 1 2 3 4" on "Raspberry Beret", and the "A B A B C D" on "A Love Bizarre". Both in '85.

And while not exactly musical, there's the interchangeable album covers of P's "Parade" album, and Sheila's self titled jawn.

There's that Bria Valente song about being your king, others wanting to take my throne, blah blah;

This lyrical idea was echoed in Andy Allo's "If I Was [sic] a King."

Two women singing about being a king. What a coincidence! Especially since, as many here argue, Andy Allow wrote that song herself because it is officially credited to her, and of course official credits are always true in Prince-world...

We will probably never know what she wrote and what she didn't, but contrarly to other protégés who received credits AND royalties (Sheila, Tamar, Carmen, Bria), Andy had proven herself as a songwriter BEFORE meeting Prince. Royalties copyrighting is what Per Nielson, Uptown Mag and Princevault have chosen as a reference to determine song credits, unless there's documented proof that they're false (the songs on Romance 1600, Good Judy Girlfriend and more recently the songs on Milk & Honey though I don't think Princevault is aware of this or accepted what we know as a reliable source).

I definitely disagree for everything attributed to Carmen, I can't see her writing a damn line of rap by herself.

I don't know what to think about Bria because there's definitely a melody style on many songs that's quite unique to her, and that same melody style can be found on the track "In Your Bed" which supposedly has nothing to do with Prince.

I tend to believe Andy wrote what she got credit for because she's a songwriter in her own right, + most of the melodies don't sound "princey" at all.

But unless people speak there's no way to prove a damn thing no matter what we believe.
