'Wendy & Lisa' 2013 Special Edition Just found this on Amazon. I'm guessing this will be along the same lines as the 'Fruit At The Bottom' Special Edition from a few years ago...

Great. This album is one of the best, probably the best associate artist albums ever....
More funky than P in parts....u can see how they influenced him / they influenced each other.

Disappointed with the lack of bonus tracks, but glad it's getting remastered.
To put this single disc release into context, Cherry Pop also released all of Sinitta and Samantha Fox's albums in double disc remasters. Think about that. | |

I love this album. Eroica is their best imo, but this is close behind. I really liked their last one White Flags of Winter Chimney's too. |

Everything But You and Light go perfectly together in that sequence in my opinion. I can't listen to one without the other. God I love Blues Away and Waterfall too. I remember buying the cassette back in 1987 and basically wearing it out! ~And even when I'm right, I'll be wrong...it's Automatic too. | |

The CD liner notes are worth the price of the CD alone. Lisa has provided history info about the night Prince broke up the Revolution and a track-by-track analysis and history of every song (remixes with standing). Very nice. |

Absolutely a non event this "expanded edition", knowing that in 2006 the album was reissued with bonus (To Trip Is To Fall, Honeymoon 12 ", Waterfall edit) included!!! A special edition, with all videos included that would have been great!! Thanks 2 Itunes that we can get at least two videos.... "Money won't buy U happiness but it'll pay 4 the search." |

Remastering sounds great and the lengthy interview with Lisa is so honest and funny, I was shocked. I've never read her speak so honestly about the Revolution split. I wonder if Prince will be pissed. | |

Really? At the time c.2007 it was quite reasonable! I don't quite know why they have come out with this 'special edition' when the full remaster - that one with To Trip Is To Fall has been out there already. I guess there's an extra booklet etc but still like with Andre's re-release of AC not sure why they come out with a remaster to supercede the other remaster so soon, I suppose to make $$ from the die hards...
