Eric Leeds in 'Cleopatra's Dream'

As I'm always trying to expand on my Eric Leeds collection, I came across a reference to him in an article in the Wax Poetics # 50 issue on Prince. In an article about Madhouse (a great read by the way!) it was stated that at a show the author of the article attended Eric Leeds sold his solo CDs after the concert. He went on to list not only Times Squared, Things Left Unsaid and Now & Again, but also an album called 'Cleopatra's Dream', which I had never heard of. Amazon pointed me towards a 2003 jazz album by the Eric Reed Trio (Eric Reed, Ron Carter & Al Foster), released on M&I Japan. There was no reference to Eric Leeds in the album description.

Can anyone tell me if Eric plays on any of the tracks, and if so, on only one or on quite a few tracks? If he does, I'll definitely purchase it, because I just love the way he plays the sax.

Thanks for your help!

It's not the first time the media has mistaken Eric Leeds for Eric Reed.....

Yeah, I know, some difference in color and haircut.

The thing is, most music journalists are experts on pop music, but regarding jazz, their knowledge is just enough to know the difference between Miles Davis and John Coltrane. It's not so strange then that they mix up Leeds and Reed...probably only knowing them by name, not by music or image.

And, fuel for a Freudian mistake, mr. Leeds plays a REED instrument...
