History in the making...

The last rehearsal with The Revolution is done, I'm home, and tired...However after a few hours sleep, and a cool little soundcheck...
History will be made...And I'm right in the middle of it.
I am truly blessed...

Just got back to the hotel from club 7 Seven. Meeting, Bobby, Dr. Fink & Dez Dickerson was amazing! I'll tell the org, like I told them...they are our generation's "Beatles" and this reunion is monumental!!! Can't wait for the show tomorrow night! It's on!!!

As a Beatles fan I've always fantasized about being there for the rooftop concert that was filmed for Let it Be. I wasn't born then. I think tomorrow's show may fall into the same category in music history, and I'm blessed to be here in Minneapolis and have a ticket to ride.

I was misinformed, someone must have mistook Wendy's white gibson guitar for the cloud. Prince did not join them onstage. No matter though, it was an amazing show without him. No one, not even Prince, can play these songs live, the way this band can. Wendy tore the guitar solo up, during Purple Rain! Anyone who ever doubted this was his greatest band is only fooling themselves.

Show was very good. Enjoyed every song. Was it worth the trip from Europe? Yes. Best song: Life can be so nice (but that's personal) it would have been nice though if the little man would have shown up. But being who he is it was wishfull thinking.

I was psoitively surprised by the sound of the revolution. Better then the band P has toured with in recent years. Was good to see W&L on stage again.

Would have been nice if the Family, Jill Jones or the time would have shown up.

Haven't seen st. Paul or Sussanah yet.

I don't believe Susannah was there but the other 3 members of Fdeluxe were in the house. We saw Jellybean on Friday night as well at Seven Sushi.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Spoke to both him and Ricky at the bar just before the show. Told him I had hopes for "Screams of Passion", but he said was just diggin the vibe and I'd have to wait til they come to DC. [..in the near future].
