Sheila E's setlist during the Purple Rain tour

We can get an excellent overview by listening the greatest concert form Miami:

1/Shortberry Strawcake

2/The Belle Of St. Mark

3/Next Time Wipe The Lipstick Off Your Collar

4/Erotic City

5/The Glamorous Life

6/Percussion Jam

But what about Oliver's house: if you check the Purple Rush Disc 1 (Long Beach concert), it is wrongly listed as it is coming from the Miami venue.

So in which position form the above list, has the song to be put (beginning, the end, surely not in between).

I tried to compare it with the First Avenue setlist but it can't be matched.

Any help, to set up my Ipod?

Thanks!

I can't check my own files right now, but I think you're missing not only Oliver's House but also Noon Rendezvous. And for some reason, I thought she also performed Too Sexy at some shows, but maybe I'm mixing up another concert with the Miami one. There are a couple different recordings of Sheila's concerts from that year.

Her band was TIGHT! If the Revolution was like Wonder Woman, Sheila's original band would be like Wonder Girl. Not quite as strong, but still very damn good.

Anyway, I think the setlist was as follows (but I may be wrong about this):

Shortberry Strawcake

The Belle of St. Mark

Noon Rendezvous

Oliver's House

(Maybe Too Sexy here? Maybe not)

Next Time Wipe the Lipstick Off Your Collar

Erotic City

The Glamorous Life (including the percussion jam finale)

"Too Sexy" was only performed on Sheila's own club tour, not when she opened for Prince and the Revolution. And I agree, her band was tight and so was her performance!

Just like the white winged dove...

Love the Wonder Woman/Girl analogy!

I WISH there were video from the PR tour of Sheila.

I have a video of OK quality from European tour somewhere.
