How come WB has never put out a Greatest Hits or Best of from the Time?

You'd think they would have one out by now? They have four albums, plus B-Sides and tracks from Graffiti Bridge. And if that's not enough, they can use some of Morris' solo material (and depending where A&M fall with WB, can add some Jesse too.)

The Time featuring Morris Day

Get It Up

C-O-O-L

Girl

Grace (non-album B-Side)

777-9311

The Walk

Gigolos Get Lonley Too

Tricky (non-album B-Side)

Jungle Love

Ice Cream Catles

The Bird

[Morris Day] Color of Success

[Morris Day] The Character

[Morris Day] The Oak Tree

[Morris Day] Daydreaming

[Morris Day] Fishnet

[Morris Day] Maybe (non-album B-Side)

[Morris Day] Love Is a Game

[Prince & The Time] The Latest Fashion

Jerk Out

Chocolate

Sometimes I Get Lonley

Shake

[Morris Day] Gimmie Watcha Got

PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

SoulAlive

from last year's Billboard article...

With the 30th anniversary of its first album coming in 2011, the group also has interest in a retrospective and possibly revamping and reissuing its back catalog.

Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

The same rason they can't use the name the Time and the same reason F deluxe can't use the Family. See a pattern

Maybe they don't think it's viable? Adding Morris' couple of solo hits would be cool!
