I believe thats Morris Day and the Time. Not the original 7even. I think this show was planned months ago as Morris Day and the Time. If this a Original 7even show, it would be listed on there facebook page which it isnt. I could be wrong but they have listed all there shows and tv stuff so far on facebook. This show is not listed.

That is Morris Day and the Time performing in SF on November 11, NOT the Original 7ven. The only date the O7 have listed on their Facebook site is in Minneapolis.

Can I ask why they would do this? Their new album just came out, why would it just be Morris and a few??

Doesn't make any sense at all

I think, as someone mentioned a couple of weeks ago, that these Morris Day & The Time dates were booked way prior to any O7ven dates or before they truly knew when the album was going to get released.

The tickets went on sale weeks ago.

It's easy to tell the band's shows apart, if it's at a bigger venue, it's the Original 7ven, if it's a zoo or the local Piggly Wiggly, it's Morris Day and the Time.

Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

I've actually seen them at the Zoo in New Orleans and it was a black tie affair. One at the Piggy Wiggly would be the BOMB. I love that Chicken and tater logs. Too bad they closed all the ones around here down cool

I guess what I don't get it is if they were booked before, why don't they all come along for those dates and perform as a band.

Just kinda odd

I wonder if the "Part-Time" line up is allowed to play the new material? The show the O7 just did in Minneapolis only prominently featured one new track (#Trendin'). Jellybean has got to be racking up some serious airmiles! He told me how he flew from LA to NYC from doing Leno for the Fdeluxe gig @ Joe's Pub. Here's hoping they play NYC soon(the O7) and that it's not when we're in Minneapolis for the Revolution!

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
