Mavis Staples in Colne Lancashire. my home town!!

Mavis Staples is performing at Colne Rhythm and Blues festival on the 27th of August on the international stage at the muni theatre. Just booked my ticket this afternoon a day ticket is 36 quid Mavis is on from 9:15 and there are loads of other acts on. The venue is tiny and very intimate any northern orgers should try and check it out! smile

I'm also going to see Mavis tonight - bought my tickets the day they went on sale!! excited
