I am not obsessed or narrow minded. I make a valid point. You say she has done a lot more than release 2 albums in 24 years, OK, but in comparison to Prince her musical output is minimal. Jill was in Prince's videos and films, as well as a backing singer. All I am saying to her is be a bit more grateful. You don't hear Wendy, Lisa or Apollonia moaning about him.

That title doesn't mean much (lol) but in reality,wouldn't Sheila E. be the real "princess" of Paisley Park? She at least made three albums on the label.The others only did one album.

Perhaps, but I'd put Jill Jones up there as biggest muse or inspiration, along with Susannah, for some of his best songs during his best era -- so Princess of Paisley Park might be fitting after all.

U may like it or not, this is personnal taste, but actually Jill Jones is an album Prince spent a LOT of time on. At the time Prince used to record whole albums in a few weeks' span, while Jill Jones was progressively recorded during a 3 or 4 years span, and Prince is said to have reworked several songs over and over, and to have considered and excluded many songs for it.

Jill has an amazing voice, a great background and really cool insights into Prince's history. Personally, I enjoy hearing about what it was like to record with him, what helped him with his decisions, how songs were chosen or shelved and what certain lyrics mean. I guess the way I am seeing it is that we have a choice... we can allow those who were actually involved in the process to have an opinion that is different than ours and accept that sometimes we aren't going to agree with the information we get OR we can shout these people into silence and just throw our own opinions back and forth without any new insights being brought to the table by those who were there.

I love the back and forth about the opinions we have, but at the same time, I really enjoy that the org brings us people like Michael B., etc. who want to share with fans.

I know that there are several associates who didn't like the vibe here and stopped coming by. I hope we don't chase all of these people off.

And then some!

Jill offers so much knowledge of the man and she was apart of history when people actually cared about Prince. She's a wonderful woman, who happens to speak her mind and don't hold back. I got alot of respect for her because she have managed to still stay in the music game doing things her way and working on other things than just music. We will see more of her .

There was a time when "narrow-minded" was the very antithesis of "Prince fan." These days, not so much.
