Some of you are high or maybe just weren't around at the time -- Sheena was smokin' HOT back in the day -- especially during The Lover In Me/7 Minute Abs era.

Oh well, what happened? It looks as if she went from hot to cold now. There just isn't anything here.

In one of the biographies I read about Prince, it stated that Sheena was somewhat aggressive or pushy and that was a turn off to Prince romantically. It stated that they remained friends and had a good working relationship as well. It said whenever he was recording in L.A., I think at Sunset Sound, he would call Sheena to come down and listen to tracks because she lived close to the studio.

I cannot remember which bio it was. I only read two, they were the most popular ones. It might have been the one by Per Nilsen.

I saw an interview with her talking about Prince, she said some nice things about him, and had a coy smile on her face...I forever believe they hooked up, even just once. I don't know why Prince would have been smitten with her, I've never thought she was a looker..shrug

I agree, Sheena wasn't hot at all. Her lyrics to some of her songs were very sensual, ie Sugar Wall. In Miami Vice, she was just a slight distraction, nothing great at all.

Sheena was average looking, her body wasn't anything fantastic. P had far better women in his stable. The only reason the media made a big deal of her then was because she's White. I think that P had plans to mold her into a Teena Marie like artist. P was following Rick James business style at that time. Rick had the Mary Jane Girls and Prince had Vanity 6/Appolunia 6. All he was missing was a Teena Marie. He thought he found it in Sheena E.

Not Even! I like Sheena...but she was never the force that Teena was/is!

I can believe this. I remember reading an interview with a guy who was a bodyguard to the stars in the 80's and one of them was Sheena. He said that Sheena was very difficult and that she desperately wanted to be like Madonna. I'm sure that her attitude was part of the reason her popularity did not last as long as it could have.

Maybe her accent turned him off. How you gonna make love to Prince sounding like a stowaway from the Titanic?

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
