Christ, are there any people in the public eye that don't have inflated egos? It comes with the territory. Some pop stars present much larger images of self-worth than others, but c'mon... when thousands of people come to see you do your thing, you're going to feel pretty damn special. Maybe ego and its associated chemical effect on the brain even keeps substance abuse at bay.

i wouldnt fire someone based on the way they look, i think its a horrid premise, but its prince we're talking about here, right?

anyway, if prince kocked her off for either her looks or her ego she can probably sue him for unfair dismissal if the contract didnt specifically state he can fire anyone anytime he pleases...

and who would sign a contract like that anyway? as long as she was doing the job she was employed to do, there's no valid reason to dismiss her unless she breached some other part of her contract, right?

When I met Prince & Sheila, neither of them seem to have massive egos but, that was my experience with meeting them, exactly that, they seemed to be down to earth individuals. Typically people that hold a high esteem for the creator aren't like that and both Prince & Sheila talk about GOD/Jehovah all the times.

As for Sheila, I can only speak for my interactions with her, but she was always gracious and friendly and very sweet each time I was fortunate enough to have met her. (but then, I'm only a woman of average looks so maybe that's why..?)

Good observation Ruby. While Im not here to out Prince's "other girlfriends", I hope Honestbabe that you can stop doing what you are doing. This site is not safe to find closure to your personal issues with Prince. He is watching and so are the mods and they know who you are EVERYTIME you create a new account. Which you have had quite a few.

Dont worry, Prince will be in New York soon. Maybe then he will finally call you, as Im sure it has been a very long time.

Oh no, Prince got an ego. During Wendy & Lisa's Largo recedency a few years back, when Eric Clapton, John Mayers, Seal and big name actors all came to the show, Prince was the fool with a bodyguard standing in front of the table.

Come to think of it, that was the first time (oh, wait no--second time) I met Shiela. She was real nice until I mentioned catching her in drag (Family Jamm). Shiela snapped her neck at me and asked, "What?" in a very stern tone. Her pal Lynn laughed and had to remind her about her dressing as Jerome. The whole moment made me go, hmmm...LOL

I don't know much now, but prior to her collapsed lung she had a big ego.

She talked about it come in an interview

It was said by people in the Prince camp in the 1987-88 years she looked to be treated like Prince.

I think she has changed though, but like u said ego at times does go with the territory
