Vanity-not the marrying type???

Denise Matthews has no desire to marry. Doesn't she deserve a good man?

Every good person derserves someone to share their life with... but if you are happy and can't meet the right person, you just go on being happy.

Marriage doesn't bring happiness, and in ministry, many choose to stay single since minsistry calls them to live in a way that is not easy on a spouse (extensive travel and separation from a loved one).

Thanks for putting it in perspective. It's just when I heard her speak of it, I thought it was rather sad..........There's someone for everyone...........and can't you have your ministry and hubby or wife?

Yes there is and yes you can have it all, why not?

BUT..

many men in the church run to God AFTER or because they are in a real bad way. Many men in the church are still fixing themselves and not marriage material yet.

So many women find themselves very single and the pickings are rather slim if you want a man in the church. Its just the way it is. So Denise, like many others just put marriage on the back burner for now.

I am sure if she found someone to love her she wouldn't be saying that. She would allow love in her life.

Really? You don't think she'll find someone like her in the circles she runs in? Or are you referring to her health issues?

"not the marrying kind" doesn't equate with "deserving of a good man". She chooses not to marry for her own reasons, and frankly it's no one's business.

I don't believe she's too unstable for marriage. It's her choice, and that's that.

Maybe she is happier being free and not tied down.

Although I know nothing about her personally, I have to agree with this statement. I'm sure her over-zealous religion and previous hardcore drug use have scared many potential suiters away.

I hope so.............She's such a beautiful person(inner and outer beauty). She would be a good spouse for someone...............
